It's Final RSVP Time!

We are now at that stage where we need to finalise our party requirements and therefore need to confirm numbers and related activities. So, while we are encouraged and impressed by your "intent", it's now time for actual acceptances or non-attendance. The final RSVP form is now active on our website so please complete as soon as you can - you have until the end of February to do so.

We have some great food organised with a range of choices that will hopefully satisfy everyone's taste. Just so you understand, this is a causual event, not a formal sit-down meal occassion. There will be a series of food stations placed strategically around the event area. There is the usual bar service, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be availble. Of course, there will be tables and chairs scattered around, some high, some low, and even a lounge or two.

Entertainment will be provided in the form of a DJ, playing music from our own impressionable years, namely the 60s & 70s, plus a 'Photobooth', where you can create some lasting memories, just not too creative!

We have just about finalised our own outfits for the night. A sophisticated 70s look for Jenny and a wilder 60s look for Peter - very much aligned with our personalities! So we hope you have the same fun in selecting your own party outfit (we promise we won't laugh!).

We are really looking forward to seeing you all in May and having a wonderful & fun evening.

Food Stations

Current thinking for our food stations - there will definitely be a Paella station (see image) plus 2 others - and 'sliders' will also be served (that's mini burgers for those unfamiliar). And of course there will be dessert sourced from Melbourne's famous Brunetti Cafe plus a gluten free cake. Coffee will also be available.

Photobooth

And to keep us all entertained throughout the evening (when not dancing), we have a Photobooth! This is where you can all have some fun creating picture memories for both yourselves and us. You will get two prints for each photo session you create, one for you and one to add to our 'guestbook', where you can also write something kind and loving, smart and funny or even rude! You will even be able to post to social media sites using a # tag we will provide on the night (how 21st century!). We will also publish an online photo gallery via our website after the party for you to relive (or not!) the night.

Music DJ

And to get those feet & the rest of you moving, we have our DJ 'Reggie' playing tracks (using vinyls!) from the 60s & 70s, with maybe a dash of 50s Elvis and even some 80s music classics (were there any?). Possibly those born this century will have to suffice with the 70s Abba, but who doesn't love an Abba song!
